Esta semana se confirmó la visita de los Pet Shop Boys a México el 1 de Octubre de este mismo año para promocionar su nuevo disco Yes.
El grupo conformado por Chris Lowe y Neil Tennant regresa a México después de una larga espera, OCESA confirmó el día de ayer a través de su sitio web y su perfil de twitter (que al parecer ahora es la recomendación a seguir) que los intérpretes de West end girls y You were always on my mind se presentarán en el Auditorio Nacional el próximo 1 de Octubre.
Además de haberse ganado en el 2008 el título del Record Guinness como dúo más exitoso en la historia del pop, recientemente a los Pet Shop Boys se les otorgó el BRIT Award a su destacada contribución a la música.
El disco que vienen a promocionar, Yes, fue producido junto con Brian Higgins y el equipo de Xenomania. Estrenada a principios de este año, de esta nueva producción ya se han desprendido dos sencillos siendo el primero de ellos, Love, Etc., el que se colocó como el número uno de las listas Billboard el pasado 19 de Julio haciéndolo el Top Ten hit número 25 de su carrera.
